About Bob Harris

Robert A. (Bob) Harris is mostly retired but has been a Professional Certified Coach member of the International Coach Federation who has spent over 1400 hours coaching clients. He is especially qualified to work with pastors who are new to a church. As a Presbyterian Interim Pastor and called pastor he has helped four churches do major turnarounds. When he entered the system they were conflicted and dysfunctional. After he worked with them, they were energized with new vision and unity and had a clear sense of being a team.

A graduate of the highly regarded Georgetown University Coaching Certification program, he has additional training in organizational and family systems, conflict management, discerning an organizational vision, and organizing to achieve one’s vision. A parish pastor for 40 years, he offers deep understanding of people, their hungers of spirit, their foibles, and their potentialities.
He has been coaching pastors and other leaders since 2004.
He wants to help people grow in heart, mind, and spirit. Leaders trying to navigate the chaotic whitewater of our society will find in Bob a calming, grounded presence who can help them not only survive, but thrive.
